The Classe Affaires team won the prize for the best business analysis solution at the first IIBA – Région de Québec Hackathon.
The IIBA is the International Institute of Business Analysis, an international organization dedicated to promoting business analysis. In addition to encouraging awareness of the profession, the IIBA works to maintain standards of practice and offers certification programs.
On March 19, 2022, the IIBA held its first business analysis hackathon. This friendly competition brought together several leading players in the business analysis community in Quebec City. Its goal was to help Bénévoles d’Expertise, an organization that supports the management and governance of NPOs through the use of volunteer expertise.
What’s a hackathon? It’s a short event where professionals meet and work together to develop innovative solutions to a problem. While the term is mostly used in programming, it is also used in other technology-related fields.
The Classe Affaires team’s performance definitely attracted attention! The quality of the analysis, the recommendations and the presentation of the results earned them the award for the best business analysis solution.
Above all, this challenge was a great opportunity to collaborate for the good of Bénévoles d’Expertise. Classe Affaires is very proud to have contributed to the success of this organization!
